Making Thinking Visible · PK-12
Every student has a voice.
Now every teacher can hear it.
DialogIQ builds self-confidence and student agency through private Socratic dialogue — deepening critical thinking, reading comprehension, and bilingual reasoning, while giving teachers a real-time view of how every student thinks.

The Problem
Ghost Learning is real —
and it is invisible by design.
Ghost Learning happens when a student goes through the motions of school without the cognitive engagement that produces lasting understanding. It is not laziness. It is a system that measures what students produce — answers, essays, test scores — rather than how they reason. The student who raises her hand first is visible. The student composing a sophisticated argument in her head, in Spanish, while the class moves on, is not.
Traditional assessment was built for the student above the waterline. CLARO was built for everyone else.

The Iceberg
What the classroom sees.
What Chispa sees.
The best thinking in your classroom may be coming from the student who has not spoken yet. Chispa creates a private one-to-one dialogue space where every student is the only student in the room — and reasoning is tracked in English, Spanish, or both.

Multilingual Cognition
Thinking in two languages
is a cognitive strength.
Translanguaging — the fluid movement between languages that multilingual students do naturally — is not a gap to be corrected. It is evidence of a more complex cognitive architecture. A student who reasons clearly in Spanish and is assessed only in English is not being measured. She is being erased.
CLARO's Cognitive Flexibility Index (CFI) measures reasoning quality independent of language. The Equity Lens Report surfaces students whose reasoning in Spanish exceeds their measured English proficiency — making the invisible student visible to teachers, districts, and the reclassification process.
DialogIQ
The first edtech platform designed
to return the thinking to the student.
Every other platform in the market is racing to make learning easier. DialogIQ makes it harder — in exactly the right way. Chispa withholds, challenges, and returns the cognitive load to the learner. Then it measures what happens, turn by turn, in real time.
ThinkMode™
Open-ended reasoning across any subject. DQ score tracks cognitive depth turn by turn.
ThinkMode™ Math
NEWSocratic problem-solving for K–12 math. Robust problem library aligned to TEKS, CCSS, and NM Standards. Misconception tracker built in.
Language Sparks™
Oral language and early literacy for PK-2. Designed for families and early childhood classrooms.
Inquiry Mode™
Guided inquiry with glow levels. Builds the habit of wondering before concluding.
ThinkMode™ Advanced
ADVANCEDInterview coaching and structured debate in one tier. Question quality, claim–evidence–rebuttal, and peer dialogue — all scored.
Who It Is For
One platform. Every stakeholder
who cares about thinking.
Teachers
See every student's thinking — not just the loudest voices.
The Teacher Insight Report shows DQ trajectories, Chispa state distributions, and the students whose reasoning quality is invisible in class participation.

Equity data that goes deeper than test scores.
The Subgroup Report and Equity Lens Report give district leaders the evidence to identify misclassified ELs, target professional development, and demonstrate ESSA-aligned outcomes.

Your language. Your child's strength.
Language Sparks brings Chispa into the home for PK-2 families. Storytime in Spanish is not a detour around English literacy — it is the road.

The evidence base is built in.
Every session produces a dataset. Bloom's 2 Sigma problem has never been equitably distributed. Scalable Socratic dialogue is the closest thing to that intervention at classroom scale.

We have it.
The research is not aspirational.
Effect size for Socratic AI in K-12 science classrooms — among the largest intervention effects in recent education research.
Research Square, 2025 · K-12 Socratic AI Science Study
Bloom's 2 Sigma finding: one-to-one tutoring produces two standard deviations of learning gain. It has never been equitably distributed. DialogIQ is how we change that.
Bloom, 1984 · UNESCO AI and Education, 2025
Gerlich (2025, n=666) found a negative correlation between AI use and critical thinking — for answer-generating AI. Socratic AI inverts this relationship by returning cognitive load to the learner.
